BEST NEWS OF MY LIFE EVER....

...
FUNIMATION IS BRINGING THE FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST MOVIE HERE AND OH GOD IT'S GOING TO BE IN THEATERS!!!! HOLY COW!!!

That so made my day oh I'm so happeh! *cries for joy* Life is so amazing when you have something to look forward to! And we can go see it on a BIG SCREEN, without the CRAPPY RECORDING QUALITY!!! (Of course, we'll prolly have to drive to, like, Boston. But whatever.) AND I AM SO EXCITED!!! YAY!!!

And now, some celebratory fiction:
Ur, this was written for Valentine's Day, but because I'm a lazy ass, I never posted it.

My Funny Valentine
It starts with the rose - single, solitary, perched precariously in its vase on the edge of the kitchen table. Like an afterthought, almost. But, it does have water.
Al takes his seat to almost squish a box of chocolates. They aren't the expensive kind, because the expensive kind cannot be afforded, but they will certainly taste like chocolate. In all honesty, that is all Al can care about. He smiles and moves them aside, saving them for later.
When he finally comes to the table, cheeks red and a pan-full of scrambled eggs in one hand, Ed doesn't say anything. No recognition for the day, and, certainly, no recognition of anything out of the ordinary. Yet, hot breakfast in and of itself is a rarity, an expression of the unordinary. He shovels eggs onto Al's plate, then sits down and watches him eat with an odd, penetrating gaze.
Ed has to leave for work soon enough. He stands up, takes his briefcase. Al stays home during the days, though he would be safe enough in the streets of the decaying city. His blond hair and blue eyes afford him that protection, at least. "I'll try again for the tickets today," Ed says raspily, not having spoken yet this morning. He clears his throat, leans down, pecks Al ever so lightly on the forehead. The insanity of a life lived at war is wearing him. Al squeezes his head extra hard.
"I, uh... er, you know." Al nods, and Ed seems relieved. The door beckons, other people in the stairway of their ratty building are rattling by, cars in the street make enough noise to wake the dead. So Ed leaves, and Al understands. For them, actions speak more than words.

And I'm sorry I haven't posted for so long, but seriously, I am up to my ears in work. It makes me CRAZY!!!!

I love you all! - Sami
